Our story
Before Mosaiced was a product, it was a problem inside a real Alternative Provision. A DSL juggling safeguarding logs across spreadsheets. A deputy head trying to evidence pathways and reintegration with notes scattered in emails. An admin team hand‑producing invoices at the end of each month. Everyone was working flat‑out, yet the tools weren’t built for AP.
We sat with leaders, staff and students—listening more than talking. We mapped the journey of a learner through placement, intervention and reintegration; the moments where communication matters; the evidence governors ask for; the checks inspectors want to see. Out of these conversations came sketches, then clickable prototypes, then working modules focused on AP’s reality.
